I wanted to take this time to commend IMM on the amazingly progressive and accommodating way that the exams have been amended amid this Codiv 19 pandemic.
For me personally, it really blows me away how we have been forced into a technology error to keep the wheels moving. Ourselves at FNB, have gone through massive amounts of investment and clever thinking to mobilise our entire work force to work from home. Thousands of desks stand empty, call centres completely vacant while we moved to a new era of 20k plus vpn connections firing up every morning to ensure its business as usual.
It’s a real game changer, and its so refreshing to see companies such as IMM embrace new ways of learning. So just wanted to say well done, and a massive thank you. Being an IT ops head in the back end working long hours and endless days to get something like this off the ground is a huge accomplishment. I fully appreciate what IMM have had to do to drive this kind of enablement. Books will be opened, knowledge will grow, exams will be marked and one day everyone will (hopefully) wear their caps and gowns – because at the end of this we will need our educated SA more than ever.
So, flipping well done guys 😊 us students really owe you one.

Today I want to share with the whole world how incredibly awesome IMM has been and is especially during this lock down.
Since the day I inquired about studying through them a very helpful lady named Chriselda has taken my hand and assisted where ever and when ever I would need.
Literally she phoned me to see how my studies are going in my 1st semester.... Who does that.
I can tell you my degree was done through another institution and never did anyone from there reach out to me! In fact I made appointments to meet with professors who never even pitched up.
During this lock down IMM has been at the forefront of online support and making it possible to finish my Honours degree online this semester.
The course has been extremely interesting and my tutors has gone the extra mile to open up a new world of possibilities. Each student has access to one on one communication groups with their lecturers.
I would definitely 100 times over choose IMM again and again. It has been an incredible honor to be part of this institution.

A NOTE ON MARKETING THE FUTURE
We now refer to life pre-2020 as the ‘old normal’. We are, once more, living in ‘normal’ times, and that means living alongside the pandemic. Of course COVID-19 still tosses us around as new variants come about, and has thrust new debates and polarising issues – such as mandatory vaccines – into the mix. Nevertheless, we’ve embraced the agility we have learnt over the past two years in terms of how and where we work, and how or where we consume – be it media, food or information.
Life, and marketing, goes on.
