The IMM Graduate School Joins the Network of International Business Schools (NIBS)

The IMM Graduate School is proud to announce its official membership in the Network of International Business Schools (NIBS), a global association of over 70 leading business schools across more than 30 countries.
By joining NIBS, the IMM Graduate School takes a significant step in offering internationally recognised, industry-relevant education. This includes marketing, supply chain, and business management programmes.
A Major Milestone in International Business Education
Founded in 1993, NIBS unites institutions dedicated to the internationalisation of business education, preparing students to thrive in a global economy.
The network prioritises foreign language proficiency, comparative management techniques, and international study and work experiences, fostering a global perspective for students and faculty alike.
The IMM Graduate School’s membership was recommended by fellow NIBS members UCLL University of Applied Sciences (Belgium) and International Business Academy – IBA Kolding (Denmark), and approved unanimously by the NIBS Board.
The school now joins a distinguished group of higher education institutions, including the Manchester Metropolitan University Business School, the Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University (USA).
Being part of this network strengthens the IMM Graduate School’s position as a global business school, connecting students with top institutions worldwide.
What NIBS Membership Brings to the IMM Graduate School
By joining NIBS, the IMM Graduate School gains access to numerous international opportunities. It can take part in collaborative research projects and joint teaching programmes. Faculty and students benefit from exchanges, and the school can participate in competitions such as the Worldwide Case Competition.
Students can develop entrepreneurial, problem-solving, and cross-cultural skills while applying knowledge in real-world scenarios.
“The opportunity to join NIBS is a significant step for IMM Graduate School,” says Dr Elaine van Wyk, the IMM Graduate School’s Group Chief Marketing and Sales Officer. “Through this membership, we can build international partnerships that benefit our students. We will also expand our research footprint and keep our programmes aligned with global standards in business education.”
