The INQAAHE Forum 2026 in Sun City, South Africa, will bring together quality assurance professionals, policymakers, educators, students, and institutional leaders to explore the critical role of quality assurance in higher education.
Hosted by the Council on Higher Education (CHE), the Forum will focus on the ways QA frameworks and practices can ensure standards while supporting access, equity, and innovation. Participants will engage in interactive sessions, workshops, and dialogues aimed at fostering practical solutions for diverse and rapidly evolving educational contexts.
Key subtopics include building trust in QA systems across stakeholders, enhancing the social and labour market relevance of macro and micro-credentials, leveraging technology and AI for more impactful QA practices, and widening access while safeguarding quality.
The Forum will examine QA’s role in driving innovation, inclusion, and sustainability, particularly in Africa, while addressing global trends and challenges in higher education.
Participants are encouraged to submit proposals based on real-life examples, co-creation, and stakeholder collaboration. The event prioritises interaction, shared learning, and actionable takeaways that participants can apply in their institutions and national systems.

eLearning Africa 2026, the 19th edition of the international conference and exhibition on digital education, training, and skills development, will take place in Accra, Ghana. Co-hosted by Ghana’s Ministry of Education, the event will explore how Africa can shape its own digital future, strengthening sovereignty, fostering innovation, and promoting inclusive learning for its rapidly growing youth population.
The conference provides a platform for educators, policymakers, EdTech innovators, researchers, and development partners to exchange knowledge, present research, and discuss solutions for Africa’s education challenges.
Participants will explore emerging technologies, digital pedagogies, and strategies to ensure that learning is relevant, scalable, and locally driven. Key areas include teacher support, data-driven education, inclusive stakeholder engagement, and the development of digital skills aligned with local and continental priorities.
Accra offers a dynamic backdrop for the event, with a thriving EdTech ecosystem and ongoing national education reforms such as the Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcomes Project (GALOP) and the Education Strategic Plan 2018–2030.
